Support with building certification and ESG reporting for existing properties

IntelliWay Services is expanding its range of services and is now offering customers support in providing documentary evidence for the BREEAM, LEED, DGNB and EDGE certification systems. In addition, data for the ESG tool GRESB and the reporting system EPRA is collected and analysed. This is our response to the steadily increasing demand on the market.

The new services are primarily aimed at portfolio holders, auditors and portfolio and asset managers.

The new services in the run-up to a planned certification of existing properties include:

  1. Property inspection and photo documentation of the building, including research of data, documents and information on site
  2. Research of digital cloud-based documents: Building plans and sketches, energy and thermal insulation certificates, product data sheets, etc.
  3. Preparation of evidence in accordance with the subject areas of the certification systems, including calculations, photo documentation and determination and analysis of electricity, water, heat and waste consumption data
  4. Review of tenancy agreements as part of the collection, structuring and compilation of data.

"Certifying the sustainability of properties is a complex and time-consuming process. Our aim is to relieve our customers by compiling and preparing the necessary documents for the respective properties. Our services cover DGNB and BREEAM certification as well as sustainability reporting in accordance with EPRA," says Sergey Koynov, Managing Director of IntelliWay. "We also have expertise in the LEED, GRESB and EDGE systems and offer support with data research and analysis as well as verification."

Angelina Stanoeva, Sustainability Project Manager at IntelliWay Services, is taking on responsibility for the newly established area of "ESG and sustainability certification of existing properties" in addition to her previous duties. She has been part of the IntelliWay team since 2021. She studied architecture at the Peter Behrens School of Arts in Düsseldorf and worked as an architect in the areas of planning (design and realisation), construction management and project management at the renowned architectural firms Eller + Eller Architekten and RKW Architektur+ in Düsseldorf before joining IntelliWay.

"By evaluating various sustainability criteria of the building, portfolio certification offers investors, owners, buyers, operators and tenants good opportunities for comparison. This makes it possible to increase competitiveness, improve the operation of the building and consequently reduce operating costs, as well as optimise the sustainability of the building as a whole," says Angelina Stanoeva, describing the benefits of certification.
